Momentive SB32 is made by General Electric. It is decamethylcyclo pentasiloxane, a low viscosity polydimethysiloxane fluid with relatively high volatility and cyclic structure. Synonyms are pentamer or D5. Is is non-polar and insoluble in water, but completely miscible in lower alcohols as well as aliphatic, aromatic and halogenated solvents. It is compatible with organic ingredients and offers high spreadability.
